- New Languages: The exam medium has expanded to 27 languages, with the addition of Maithili and other regional dialects.

Shift Timings & Papers
The examination is divided into two levels based on the teaching grade:
- Paper II (Classes VI to VIII): Held in the Morning Shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Paper I (Classes I to V): Held in the Evening Shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifying Criteria
- General Category: Must score at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD): Must score at least 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
Application Fee Structure
Fees must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Important Instructions & Warnings
- Strict City Policy: CBSE has clarified that exam cities and specific dates (between Sept 5-6) are allotted randomly. Changes to the allotted city or date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Server Rush: Candidates are advised to apply well before June 10 to avoid server issues on the final day.
- Correction Window: If errors are made, the correction window is only open from June 15 to June 18, 2026.
